Nashville, TN…September 19, 2016… Luke Combs is partnering with CMT Music for the world premiere of his new video for “Hurricane.”  Fans can check out the clip starting tomorrow at CMT’s digital all-music channel CMT Music LukeCombs.CMT.com and on CMT Mobile. Combs has also been named among the next group of artists to join the CMT ARTIST DISCOVERY campaign, launched on CMT Music and CMT.com.  CMT ARTIST DISCOVERY includes exclusive world video premieres and custom on-air and cross-platform promotion to better connect emerging artists with a passionate new fan-base.

The high-energy video was directed by Tyler Adams and produced by Aaron Conner.  Shot in his home state of North Carolina, the scenic and sexy clip combines picturesque images on Lake Norman and a pumped up live performance at Coyote Joe’s in Charlotte.  The couple that portrays the star-crossed lead roles has another connection with Combs as students at his alma mater, Appalachian State.  Written by Combs along with Thomas Archer and Taylor Phillips and produced by Scott Moffatt, “Hurricane” is available now for fans at http://smarturl.it/TOFY.

He’s already in the spotlight with Music Row, Nash Country Daily, Sounds Like Nashville, Wide Open Country, Sirius XM’s The Highway and was recently named one of Rolling Stone’s “Top New Country Artists You Need To Know”.  With his full-length album slated for later this year, the road warrior will join Corey Smith for the West Bound and Down Tour next week, playing more than fifteen shows in 30 days with stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, Portland, Ft. Worth and more!

ABOUT LUKE COMBS: Don’t call country music newcomer Luke Combs an outlaw. The word doesn’t really fit, though he does have an undeniable independent streak. And outsider doesn’t really work anymore either, since he’s come to Nashville and quickly won himself a record deal and quite a bit of attention. Outlier is the better fit for Combs. The 26-year-old has built an already enviable following of avid fans by playing his heart out on the road, booking over 200 shows per year.  With over 100,000 followers across social media platforms and now 15,000,000 streams of his music, his hard work is paying off.

Combs is set to take his unique sound to an even wider audience as the Asheville, North Carolina native is releasing his debut album expected later this year. Combs co-penned the lead single “Hurricane” making its way to Country Radio now, along with every other track on the project.  Connect with LukeCombsMusic via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Spotify to learn more.
