(New York, New York) – A Pentatonix Christmas, the third holiday album from the Grammy Award winning group Pentatonix, remains at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart for the second consecutive week.   The certified platinum album is the 5th best-selling album of 2016 and marks the group’s second #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 chart.   2014’s 2X platinum That’s Christmas to Me stays in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart and surpasses 2 million total album sold.

According to Nielsen, the group is the top selling group in strictly album sales since 2014 and is the third best-selling artist behind Adele and Taylor Swift selling over 4.3 million albums.

The official music video for the group’s cover of the Leonard Cohen classic “Hallelujah” has over 100 million views.  Just before Christmas, Pentatonix released their performance of “Hallelujah” from A Pentatonix Christmas Special which has been viewed nearly 6 million times. The NBC special aired on both December 14th and December 17th, garnering nearly 13 million viewers across the two airings.

Cumulatively, the group’s holiday albums have sold nearly 4 million copies in the U.S. and their holiday videos have over 570 million views on YouTube.

In just five years, Pentatonix has sold over 5.8 million albums in the U.S. alone.  They have won 2 Grammy Awards, had 2 #1 Billboard Top 200 albums and performed for hundreds of thousands of fans at their sold-out shows across the globe.  Their YouTube channel boasts more than 12.5 million subscribers, yielding over 2.2 billion video views, and their 2015 self-titled album has been certified gold after debuting #1 on Billboard’s Top 200.  All 7 Pentatonix album releases have debuted in the chart’s Top 10.  In 2015 the group released its first tour documentary - On My Way Home - and appeared in the feature film Pitch Perfect 2.
