A Tribe Called Quest (ATCQ) will officially kick off the premiere of brand new episodes of the #1 hip-hop podcast, DRINK CHAMPS, on REVOLT starting Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 11:00PM ET/8:00PM PT.

For the premiere episode, the DRINK CHAMPS team of N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN will host the legendary Queens group A Tribe Called Quest, following the success of their recent #1 album “We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service.” Led by front man Q-Tip, fellow ATCQ members Jarobi, Busta Rhymes and Consequence chop it up with the Drink Champs hosts, touching on a number of subjects ranging from their new album, making peace with Tupac Shakur following the infamous Source Awards controversy, Nas, and their fallen comrade Phife Dawg, whose memory the group has vowed to keep alive.

“We can’t really think about another Tribe album without that man,” said Q-Tip in regards to member Phife Dawg. “It would have to be something totally different. Cause that man was like… he was the motor.”

The popular DRINK CHAMPS podcast is the brainchild of legendary Queens rapper N.O.R.E. and Miami hip-hop pioneer DJ EFN. Each week the duo hosts a raw and uncut conversation with friends and fellow hip-hop artists – over drinks – discussing everything from current events and old-school stories to little-unknown hip-hop history and never-before-shared tales. Now, fans of these two music icons and their special guests will see the conversations unfold first on REVOLT.

New episodes of DRINK CHAMPS ON REVOLT will air weekly on Thursdays at 11:00PM ET/8:00PM PT.
