Nashville, Tenn. (January 17, 2017) - Breakout country star Chris Lane will make a bucket list appearance in an upcoming episode of ABC’s The Bachelor. The episode will feature a special performance by the die-hard The Bachelor fan of his current chart-rising, tender single “For Her” during a one on one date with the newest Bachelor, Nick Viall. This episode of The Bachelor, currently celebrating its 21st season, is scheduled to air Monday, January 23rd, at 8/7c, on ABC.

“It’s no secret one of my favorite shows is The Bachelor/Bachelorette … so this was definitely a bucket list opportunity that I could never pass up,” exclaims Lane. “The crew, Nick and his date were a lot of fun to work with and the sold out crowd was amazing. Definitely a highlight of the year!”

Co-written by Matt Dragstrem, Kelly Archer and Sarah Buxton, “For Her” follows the #1, GOLD-certified hit “Fix” and once again pairs the newcomer’s breathtaking falsetto vocals with a R&B-meets-country feel. It’s the second single from his debut album GIRL PROBLEMS (Big Loud Records), which landed inside the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart upon its August 5th release.

Lane will continue to kick off 2017 with a bang later this month, joining Florida Georgia Line’s DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR as the featured opening artist. The nationwide trek begins January 27th in Tallahassee, Florida.

Nick Viall, runner-up on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s and Andi Dorfman’s seasons of The Bachelorette and a fan-favorite on Bachelor In Paradise, is taking one more chance at finding his true love. The 36-year-old entrepreneur from Milwaukee, Wisconsin is ready to put his heartbreak behind him and move forward on an international journey that he hopes will lead him to the woman he will spend the rest of his life with. Now that Nick is handing out the roses, will he finally find the love that he has been longing for? Follow Nick’s search for “the one” on the hit romance reality series The Bachelor, Mondays (8:00 – 10:01 p.m., ET/PT) on ABC.

ABOUT CHRIS LANE: Chris Lane rocketed onto the country music scene with his irresistible, #1 GOLD-certified smash debut “Fix.” Reaching nearly 29 million streams on Spotify and over 7 million views on Vevo, the breakout track is the lead single from his Big Loud Records debut album GIRL PROBLEMS produced by superstar studio ace Joey Moi (Florida Georgia Line, Jake Owen). His second single “For Her” is currently climbing the country radio charts and the accompanying music video - featuring a romantic, real-life wedding proposal – made its exclusive world premiere on CMT. Media and fans alike have applauded his jaw-dropping falsetto vocals mixed with a smooth R&B-meets-country vibe. Lane’s profile continues to rise, thanks to his national TV debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers and shout-outs from massive industry names like Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Selena Gomez, Florida Georgia Line, Lucy Hale, Daughtry and more. After starting his career selling out club shows in his hometown of Kernersville, NC, Lane went on to open for Dustin Lynch’s sold-out HELL OF A NIGHT TOUR and Rascal Flatts’ RHYTHM & ROOTS TOUR before joining Florida Georgia Line’s massive 2017 DIG YOUR ROOTS TOUR, which kicks off January 27 in Tallahassee, FL.
