LOS ANGELES, CA - January 18, 2017 - Just in time for the U.S. Presidential Inauguration, OK Go will perform Morrissey's politically charged "Interesting Drug" on The Late Late Show With James Corden tonight, January 18.

Lead singer Damian Kulash said of the song: "I was listening to Morrissey around the time of the conventions last year and when he belted 'There are some bad people on the rise' - that fabulous opening line of Interesting Drug - I felt like he'd written it about the very moment we were living through. Now, with this bewildering, surreal inauguration looming, it seems like a good time to share those poignant lines again." OK Go also released a video for their cover of the track today - watch it here.

The band's stunning anti-gravity music video for "Upside Down & Inside Out" is nominated for Best Music Video for this year's 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards, airing on February 12. OK Go has previously won a Grammy for their groundbreaking "Here It Goes Again" music video in 2007 and was also nominated for their beautifully elaborate video for "All Is Not Lost" in 2012. The video for "Upside Down & Inside Out" also received multiple nods at Cannes Lion Awards, including Silver in Film and Bronze in Film Craft. The song is from the band's latest album, Hungry Ghosts (Paracadute/BMG) - watch the video here.

In December of 2016, the band was also honored with Smithsonian American Ingenuity Award in the Visual Arts. Introduced in 2012, the American Ingenuity Awards™ have been called "the Golden Globes of the Intellect" and "the Academy Awards of Innovation."

OK Go will be doing a special Q&A along with screenings at The GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, February 2 - tickets for the "Upside Down and Inside Out with OK Go" event go on sale this Friday, January 20 at 12:00pm PST here. The band is currently working on their next mind-bending music video, which will be released soon.

About OK Go: With a career that includes best-selling albums, countless award-winning videos, op-eds for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal, a major label split and the establishment of a DIY trans-media mini-empire (Paracadute), testimony before Congress, collaborations with pioneering dance companies and tech giants, animators and Muppets, and an experiment that encoded Upside Down & Inside Out on actual strands of DNA, OK Go continue to fearlessly dream and build new worlds in a time when creative boundaries have all but dissolved. The band has been honored with a GRAMMY, three MTV Video Music Awards (one of them from Japan!), a CLIO, two WEBBY Awards (including one for their collaboration with The Muppets and Sesame Street), a spot in a Guggenheim installation, and a total of 10 Cannes Lions - the advertising world's most prestigious awards.
