(NEW YORK, NY) – JANUARY 25, 2017 – REVOLT and the Global Spin Awards (GSA), which honors DJs from across the globe for their contributions to the music and entertainment industries, today announced that Grammy Award® winning recording artist/actor/philanthropist/entrepreneur, Tip “T.I.” Harris, will host this year’s 5th annual celebration in New Orleans, Louisiana. No Limit will also take the stage at GSA for a special reunion featuring Master P, Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal and Romeo.

The 5th Annual Global Spin Awards will take place during the 2017 All-Star Weekend and is set to air February 23, 2017 at 10:00pm ET/7:00pm ET, exclusively on REVOLT. For one night only, DJs from across the world and genres come together to honor the best and celebrate their tremendous contributions to the evolution of the turntables, music and culture—in a city rich with musical history that shaped industry trailblazers such as No Limit.

This year’s annual event will honor GRAMMY® Award-winning DJ, producer, rapper, and writer, DJ Spinderella with the Breaking Barriers Award and legendary DJ and producer, DJ Clark Kent with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
