Trailblazing experimental DJ Plastician - whose early work pioneered tracks by Rustie, Emalkay, Joker, Om Unit and AWE among others - has announced that he will return to New York City next month with a show at Baby's All Right on February 18th. His set will be devoted to wave music, a new subgenre of electronic music emerging into the cutting-edge club scene. Tickets are available now via Ticketfly, PRESS HERE to purchase!

Wave music stands at the junction of electronic and hip-hop with a unique sound that has steadily spread from Soundcloud to the floors of famed electronic clubs. Plastician championed the genre, which has been described as a dubbed-out offshoot of trap and future beats, with his 2015 'The Wave Pool' mix, telling Clash that the genre's fresh, punk-like amateurism creates "music built in the purest of senses."

Opening for Plastician will be Wavemob's east coast member Noah B, 3D digital content pioneer JessAudreyJust Connor and Fyoomz (fka DJ Reevo). Plastician's Terrorhythm Recordings recently released Noah B's EP Night's Edge after featuring him on his Rinse FM radio show, elevating the innovative producer's emotive soundscapes and lush live sets to a new audience. JessAudrey works at the forefront of virtual room concepts and 3D content, fusing art with ethereal vocal melodies and a self-made aesthetic, while Winter Wave co-founder Just Connor and renowned bass music DJ Fyoomz round out the lineup as leaders in the wave music scene.

Plastician (fka Plasticman) is a name synonymous with groundbreaking electronic music, both as a forward-thinking DJ at the forefront of London's grime and dubstep scenes and as owner of Terrorhythm Recordings. Never one to be put in a box, Plastician specializes in finding music that joins the dots between all that is exciting in bass music. His prime time weekly radio show has been a Rinse FM staple for 13 years, he spent 18 months as part of BBC Radio 1's "The Residency"in 2006 (now known as "In New DJ's We Trust"), and was one of only four resident DJs at famed dubstep club night FWD. In addition to his work as a DJ he is a respected producer, having worked with the likes of Snoop Dogg, M.I.A., Wiley, JME, Skepta and more.
