Sydney, Australia’s badass all-female folk foursome All Our Exes Live In Texas will release their debut full-length, When We Fall, on March 3. This album is a collection of songs rich with sweet, potent harmonies and lamentations of twisted love tales, heartbreak and bad tattoos, told by four witty and outspoken feminists. Thrilled to bring their unique brand of folk-pop to SXSW and Folk Alliance International, the foursome share the “Boundary Road” video which premiered with NPR today. The irresistible song touches upon the societal habit of pretending like things are OK when they really are not - something that many people face at some point in their lives. While it can be important to be strong and brave as a community, this song offers a safe space for individuals to let down their defenses and fall apart every now and then.
