February 13, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA – Dune Rats, Australia’s favorite stoner pop band, have debuted at #1 on Australia's ARIA album chart with their second full length studio record, The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit. The Record is available now in North America from Dine Alone Records at https://www.dinealonestore.com/collections/dune-rats.

Produced by FIDLAR’S Zac Carper, the album features the anthemic singles “Bullshit” and “Scott Green” (which could be heard being screamed or sung by masses of punters at the Laneway Festivals across the country last week). The #1 ARIA debut for The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit tops off an incredible start to 2017, after having placed in the Triple J Hottest 100 at #33 with Bullshit and #34 with Scott Green.

It’s fair to say the Dunies are stoked - “Our new album has somehow landed at #1 on the Australian Aria charts! Can't explain how much this means to us and we cannot thank everyone enough for the crazy amount of support they've shown! We started this band to quit our telemarketing jobs and live on free beer and Centrelink. We are absolutely gobsmacked. THANK YOU!!! We still live at home with our parents.”

Straight off the Laneway tour the guys hit instore signings and appearances across the east coast in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane at 24Hundred, Utopia and Rocking Horse.

The band will be touring Australia on their The Kids Will Know It’s Bullshit National Tour, which kicks off in Freo on March 11 with only a few tickets available.  All remaining dates are sold out.

Dune Rats will be joined by special guests (and label mates) Skegss & The Gooch Palms on all dates.
