Over the past few years, alt-rock artist Emily Bell has been on a path of glorious destruction, moving away from industry artistic paradigms to follow the music yelling at her from within. Kali, is in reference to the Hindu Goddess of Destruction. Like its moniker suggests, it's a boldly expressive release.

Emily Bell & The Talkbacks recently announced a February residency headlining Tellers in Austin, TX every week in February. All shows are free. The first show kicked off February 2nd with support from The Last Starship and Lowin. To check out all dates and bands participating, head to http://www.emilybell.com/
