Syosset, NY - February 10, 2017 - Long Island-based Figure Eight has released their brand new EP Forever today. Forever, which has recently been featured on Impose Magazine, New Noise Magazine, idobi Radio, and more, is the follow up to 2015's debut EP August. The band will be celebrating with an EP release show at Gold Sounds in Brooklyn tonight, February 10th. For more information or to purchase the album, please visit: www.figureeight.bandcamp.com.

On the new EP, Figure Eight shares: "Forever is a cathartic 12 minute listen that is meant to be concise, to the point, and get out everything in brevity."

Figure Eight is the latest project from Ryan Meyers, multi-instrumentalist and producer based out of Long Island, NY. The next in a long line of punk lineage from the area, Figure Eight combines the emotional sincerity of 90s emo with a hard hitting, visceral punk edge that reflects the raw intensity of the basements and late night sessions where they perfected their sound. Since releasing their debut EP August in 2015, the band has played with Such Gold, Koji, Light Years, Head North, Oso Oso, Born Without Bones, A Will Away, Casey Bolles, Save Face, The Moms, Lee Corey Oswald, Old Again, Broadside and more.

The band released their second EP, Forever, on February 10th, 2017. A full LP is set to follow later in the year.
