(New York, NY) Progressive hard-rockers Four Trips Ahead have unleashed their fresh music video for “Bring Me Down” – the first single off their forthcoming record …And The Fire Within. The release couldn’t be any timelier given the divide we’re witnessing across the country. “Bring Me Down” heavily focuses on all that oppresses you and channeling it to find the strength you need to resist and reclaim who you truly are. Watch the video and learn more about the band in an exclusive interview with AXS, HERE.

The vocalist, Peter Wilson adds: “’Bring Me Down’ is a declaration of self-worth and fearlessness within a society that historically watches those in power (often literally and figuratively) batter people into submission or voicelessness.  Given the state of the world, I wanted to capture the frustration that many feel just trying to live life as they are judged, held down, or mocked in searching for better.  ‘Bring Me Down’ is a mantra or an anthem to inspire anyone feeling boxed in to stand up and rise above the madness.”

In addition, the four-piece will be celebrating the release of the new album and performing at Single Cut Brewery in Astoria, Queens, New York on March 31st.

With four EPs and a full length album under their belt, the new material has nothing less than promise. Their previous album Love and Rebellion debuted at #6 “Most Added” on the CMJ Hard Rock/Metal charts in February 2015, with heavy rotations on American college, commercial and specialty Hard Rock/Metal radio formats including top-ten placements on various major stations such as WBAB, WHFR and WLVR.

When asked about …And The Fire Within, Wilson said: “I knew that we had captured something that I was extremely proud of. All the months of late night inspiration – writing, rewriting, rehearsing, tracking, questioning, arguing and laughing--finally seemed to culminate into something much greater than any of us had originally envisioned.”

...And The Fire Within will be available to the public on March 10, 2017 via HiFi Records / Alliance Entertainment.

About Four Trips Ahead: Four Trips Ahead’s roots date back to 2003, when the seasoned New York City musicians first came together in search of a new creative outlet. Instantly, the quartet recognized their common musical interests – creating heavy, progressive sounds with strong melodies and dynamics. Their new album …And The Fire Within explores the struggle for identity, self-reliance and faith in the midst of chaos and conflict, standing apart from much of today's contrived rock releases. The record may be one of the band’s strongest works to date, produced by lead vocalist Peter Wilson, with tracks mixed by Johnny Nice (Amy Lee, Joel Hoekstra, Rihanna) as well as Grammy and Emmy Award-winning engineer Nick Cipriano (Dream Theater, Twisted Sister, Erasure, Donald Fagen) at Spin Recording Studios and mastered by legendary mastering engineer Roger Lian (Rush, Muse, Slayer, Pantera, Coheed and Cambria).

Four Trips Ahead is Peter Wilson (vocalist), Brian Eisenpresser (guitarist), Dan Cassidy (bassist), and Ken Candelas (drummer).
