“Voodoo” follows the success of Garmiani’s 2016 festival banger track “Bomb a Drop,” which garnered support from Calvin Harris at Coachella, Galantis at Beyond Wonderland, and both Hardwell and David Guetta at Ultra. “Bomb a Drop” racked up over 5.5M online collective streams and peaked at #8 on Beatport’s Electro House charts. In addition, the festival anthem was crowned as the most-played track at Tomorrowland 2016. On “Voodoo” Garmiani called on Major Lazer’s sought-after DJ and MC Walshy Fire to lay down some seriously hyped vocals. Highly regarded for his eclectic sets blending Afrobeat, Soca, Moombahton, Reggae, Latin, hip-hop, and R&B, Walshy switches it up for “Voodoo,” offering his first ever recorded vocal performance in impressive fashion. In the Billboard premiere of “Voodoo,” Walshy explained, “I've been an MC during live shows for many years, but this is the first time my vocals have been matched to music in the studio setting. I think the song turned out dope!”

The remix package features reworkings from two of the Netherlands’ most exciting producers, Hasse de Moor and The Partysquad. Hasse de Moor’s genre-defying sound has caught the attention of numerous major electronic publications, with NEST declaring that he is “making some of the most psycho music [we] have ever heard." Prior to releasing his debut EP “Buck Wild” on Dim Mak five months ago, the youngster released “Milkshake” on Mad Decent before dropping two huge records on Spinnin’ - his remix of Cheat Codes and Kriss Kross Amsterdam’s “Sex” and his collaboration with GLD “Work.” The Partysquad’s official “Voodoo” remix marks a quick return to Dim Mak for the prominent production pair, who made a splash back in September with the jungle terror hit “Kingdom.” The track, which they produced alongside fellow Dutchman Alvaro, became a festival favorite with support from heavy-hitters David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, TJR, Seven Lions, and many more. Additionally, the versatile duo has worked with famed recording artist M.I.A., lending their refined production techniques to numerous singles including “Gold,” “Double Bubble Trouble,” and “Y.A.L.A.”
