In other news, IKILLYA has just signed with Urban Yeti Records.  The track "Your God" is taken their forthcoming third album, WAR FOR AN IDEA, due out on June 2nd via Urban Yeti.  Click here for album art.  Of the signing, Urban Yeti President Mike Gevorgian stated, "Our goal has always been to work with like-minded individuals. The music has to be great, of course, but the message and the people have to be just as great. IKILLYA is a group of guys that are extremely talented, write hard-hitting music and have the drive to put in the work needed to break through the noise in today's metal scene. I'm very stoked to have these guys as a part of the Urban Yeti family".  WAR FOR AN IDEA is available for pre-order here.

IKILLYA will headline Brooklyn's Knitting Factory this Sunday, February 26th.  The bill also features Iraqi band Acrassicauda and the show will benefit those affected by President Trump's travel ban.  Guest performers such as Testament's Alex Skolnick, and other surprises, will join Acrassicauda during their set.  Iraqi band Acrassicauda's plight as a Muslim heavy metal outfit under Sadam Hussein's regime was profiled in Vice Magazine's full-length documentary "Heavy Metal In Baghdad".  For tickets to the show and more information, please click here.

Of IKILLYA's music, Metal Hammer declared IKILLYA, "As startling and destructive as a beer bottle to the back of the skull", while Artist Direct avowed that the band are "New York's finest purveyors of true metal".  IKILLYA has toured with such heavy music legends as Danzig, Biohazard, Fear Factory and more.  The band is part of hip hop artist Yelawolf's Slumerican family and is the only metal group with that distinction.  IKILLYA is Jason Lekberg (vocals), Eric Jackson (guitars) and Rob Broderick (bass).
