"One Night Stand" is Senator's lyrical interpretation of a first date gone wrong. The track tells the story of a man drugged and tortured by a blind date. "This track is kind of horror-show meets R&B meets indie," Senator told Paste Magazine,"It's a different sound for me, but I like it." Inspired by the dark reality of men plotting against their unsuspecting dates, Senator offers listeners an alternate take, in which the woman takes the lead, taking her date down with her.

Raised in Austin, Texas Howard Baker has been performing from a young age. Baker, dubbed Senator in high school, was raised in a highly musical family - attributing his musical talent to his mother and his musical taste to his father. Senator combines his wide range of influences (from Kurt Cobain to Beck), his longtime love for classical music and his childhood obsession with musicals to create a seamless, cinematic blend of sound unlike any other.

"Each song on the album has a story and represents a different topic," Senator remarked about his forthcoming project. "I tried to take the darkest aspects of life and turn them into something beautiful on this album." The 6-track debut EP features credits from Eric Broyhill (Senses Fail, Tycho, Crosses) and production credits from Baker himself. Of the forthcoming Tiny Monsters EP, idobi Radio remarked, "The project of Howard Baker will be tugging at your heart strings, and your stereo's replay button." Rock Cellar Magazine praised the EP saying, "The music on Tiny Monsters is so engaging, so engrossing that it doesn't seem far-fetched to imaging his profile growing exponentially as the year moves along."

"One Night Stand" is the 3rd single released from Senator's forthcoming debut EP. Previous tracks "Breathless" and "Lost Again" were released last month, in anticipation of the full project's March 10th release.
