LOS ANGELES, FEBRUARY 22, 2017 – Muti-hyphenate Sofia Carson recently unveiled her newest single, “Back To Beautiful” featuring Alan Walker and now she follows with a stunning accompanying video. Directed by Emil Nava (Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris), the clip begins as Carson walks onto a desolate stage in a shimmering gown, and follows her through the historic Los Angeles Theatre before it erupts into a dazzling laser show. Written by a collective of all stars (multi-platinum selling Alan Walker, Grammy Award-winning Stargate [Beyonce, Rihanna], Julia Michaels & Justin Tranter [Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Gwen Stefani, Fifth Harmony], the up-tempo track evokes a powerful message of self-empowerment inner beauty, and compassion. Collaborator Alan Walker is nominated for a BRIT Award for British Single Of The Year for his global smash “Faded.”

“Back To Beautiful” follows Carson’s previous chart-topping hit, “Love Is The Name,” which soared to the top of the Top 40 radio charts and accumulated more than 67 million video views.

An actress and singer, Carson has starred in four movies, and has already had a #1 album – though she is best known for her role as Evie in Disney Channel’s 2015’s global hit original movie “Descendants.” She will reprise her role in the much-anticipated upcoming sequel “Descendants 2,” set to be her fifth movie, out this summer. The rising star earned a Teen Choice Award nomination last year for “Choice Music: Next Big Thing,” and she is currently recording a full album. Carson is signed to Hollywood Records/Republic Records.
