HOLMDEL, NJ | FEBRUARY 13, 2017: New Jersey rock outfit Youth in Revolt is gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut full-length, The Broken, this Friday with Outerloop Records. The Broken has been receiving rave reviews across the board, being hailed by Rock Sound who stated, "There's not one iota of energy wasted or a dull moment to speak of...It's more than worth the wait." Alternative Press also notes, "The post-hardcore act nail everything from anthems spotlighting tight musicianship ("The Broken"), to softer numbers ("Brisbane," "Only One"), that accentuate Allen's range...Youth in Revolt's time away just allowed them to return stronger than ever." Celebrating their debut release, the band has partnered with idobi Radio today to share the album in full, streaming here. In addition, catch the band on idobi Radio on The Gunz Show this Wednesday and taking over idobi's Snapchat account on Friday 2/17 for their album release day as they kick off their headlining tour with Megosh and From Under the Willow. On the release of The Broken, frontman Tanner Allen adds: "This record means the world to us. We put so much effort into The Broken to convey the spectrum of emotions that we all feel while finding our place in the world. We're overwhelmed with excitement to finally release this record and we hope that everybody listening loves it as much as we do!"

Youth in Revolt is a five-piece rock band hailing from New Jersey with musical similarities to bands such as  Sleeping With Sirens and Of Mice and Men. With sinister riffs, heavy breakdowns, and an array of catchy choruses, Youth In Revolt's sound is nothing to be considered forgettable. After adding former Brightwell members Tanner Allen (vocals) and Arvin Sarathy (drums) to an impressive lineup with original members Kenny Torres (Vocals, Bass), Alex Ramos (Guitar), and Chris Coletti (Guitar), Youth in Revolt are in their biggest year yet. The band released the first piece of music with the new lineup, a cover of Ellie Goulding's "Something in the Way You Move"on September 21st, to great acclaim. The band most notably broke into the scene touring alongside acts such as Capture the Crown, Ice Nine Kills, Palisades, and more. Following the debut of their cover of Lorde's popular track, "Royals," featured on Pop Goes Punk Vol. 6 and touring the Vans Warped Tour supporting their EP Love is a Liar's Game in 2015, Youth in Revolt have gained a dedicated following that has highly anticipated the band's next move.
