Vanessa will also begin her tour next week in support of both Earlier Things Live and Liberman Live which contains live versions of her critically acclaimed 2015 studio release, Liberman. Tour dates include New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Dallas, Nashville, and more. PRESS HERE for more info.

These two live releases work together to make a whole, and give fans a clear vantage point from which to see the musical evolution of Vanessa Carlton from where she was as a teenager to where she is today as an adult.

Fans were first given a taste of Carlton's musical evolution when the studio version of Liberman was released in 2015 via Dine Alone/Caroline. The ten songs on the album reflected on Vanessa's current state of mind since moving from NYC to Nashville, marrying husband John McCauley (Deer Tick) and having a baby girl.  The simple instrumentation mixed with her wistful vocals and poignant lyrics brought you into her world and showcased a new side to this accomplished songwriter.
