March 6, 2017, Washington, D.C. – Darkest Hour stream their "ferocious new album" (Noisey) album, Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora (10 March, Southern Lord Recordings), via Noisey: https://noisey.vice.com/en_us/article/darkest-hour-stick-to-their-guns-on-their-ferocious-new-album.

The DC-based outfit is in the midst of a tour in support of the 12-song album with the next date slated for Wednesday in San Francisco. Revolver Magazine awarded the collection four stars, saying "Godless Prophets is as driven and vicious as anything the band has released," the Nerdist declared it the band's "best album to date" and Metal Sucks, in a 5/5 review said, "Darkest Hour have never sound this huge or this nasty before. It’s like [producer] Ballou found the world’s largest, most muscular lion and installed an extra row of teeth in its mouth."

Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora pre-orders are available now with physical bundles available via Southern Lord’s web store (http://southernlord.com/bands/view/darkest-hour) and digital downloads, which include downloads of “Knife in the Safe Room," “Timeless Numbers" and "Those Who Survived" available via Bandcamp (https://darkesthoursl.bandcamp.com/), iTunes (http://apple.co/2hpwKmE) and Apple Music (http://apple.co/2hSRIqX).

The band talks about the new album, crowd funding, working with producer Kurt Ballou (High on Fire, Nails, Converge) and the partnership with Southern Lord in an ongoing series of podcasts and webisodes, with the latest webisode viewable here: https://youtu.be/WnA0VPn26No. The band’s podcast, dubbed Darkest Hour Radio, is available here: http://dhradio.libsyn.com/ and http://apple.co/2htDn5v.

In honor of Darkest Hour's 20th anniversary and the release of the new studio album, the band teamed up with DC’s own DC Brau Brewing Company for a collaboration they’ve titled SAVOR THE SWILL, a German-style Helles lager, which is available at the DC Brau Brewing Company Tasting Room.
