“We couldn't be more thankful to all our Indiegogo backers and those of you who pre-ordered and picked up this new album,” said Darkest Hour of the crowd-funded album. “Without the faith of those who took the plunge to initially fund this album it would not exist, you know who you are, thank you, we did it!

Also a special shout out to the amazing staff of Outerloop Mangement and Southern Lord Recordings for their hard work at setting up the release of this album and being there as a support system for us. To be able to still release albums and compete with the current metal climate (even if it is just mainly the Metallica back catalog) 22 years later feels unreal. We thank you all, if you have not picked up or jammed this new album of ours, DO IT! It's sure to be a fan favorite as well as one of our favorites as well! Cheers from the road and thank you for the years of support!”

Reviews for the 12-song album have reflected the enthusiasm the D.C-based band’s album has been met with. Revolver awarded the release 4 stars, Metal Sucks gave it a perfect score of 5/5, Noisey called the collection “ferocious” while Nerdist proclaimed Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora the band’s “best album to date.”
