Los Angeles, CA – LA bass music duo NIGHTOWLS make their New Noise debut with "Blacked Out," a rip-roaring trap thumper featuring the hip-hop stylings of Brewski.

Since forming in 2015, NIGHTOWLS’ fusion of deep, trap, progressive & bass elements has put them in the limelight. Comprised of Icon Collective alumni Scott Dro and Andrew Sierra, the emerging duo has released on a variety of labels including Republic, Interscope, Casablanca, Fool’s Gold, & Buygore. With original work like Sam F collaborations “SUS” and “Nap In The Club,” as well as masterful remixes of Adventure Club’s “Dreams” and Ariana Grande’s “One More Time,” NIGHTOWLS have solidified their place as emerging talent rising up from the underground. Over the past year, the pair has performed B2B with the likes of NGHTMRE, Dr. Fresch, Ghastly, SAY MY NAME, SWAGE, Wuki, and more.

2017 is looking to bring NIGHTOWLS even more prosperity. Not only did their Soundcloud cross 10M total plays in January, but their recent remix of “Bad and Boujee” with Havok Roth and their Sullivan King collaboration “Cardboard Castles” both hit the Top 5 on Soundcloud Charts. Catch them on their “Owls Take Spring Break 2017” tour as the duo make stops at SXSW, Miami Music Week, Foam Wonderland, and more.

New Noise is Dim Mak’s new music discovery imprint that focuses on cutting edge sounds from burgeoning artists across the genre spectrum. Launched in 2010, New Noise got its start as a compilation series highlighting fresh faces handpicked by Steve Aoki and crew. By 2015, the platform evolved into a bi-weekly, free-download model based on singles. New Noise’s current incarnation is a copyright free model that allows the budding community of Twitch gamers and amateur YouTube content creators to use New Noise music in their videos and live streams sans purchase or fees, all in exchange for linking back to the artists and their music.
