Hailing from Portland, the band has found recent success with the release of their album And Then Like Lions in August 2016. The album reached #2 on theBillboard Americana / Folk charts. Originally a duo, Blind Pilot has grown to a six-piece band to create their signature sound and songs that address personal topics. "Umpqua Rushing" tackles a string of personal tragedies that frontman Israel Nebeker suffered, including the death of his father.

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival is a two-day event transforming The Park at Harlinsdale Farm into an oasis of music, food, and culture set against the natural amphitheaters and vistas of this former horse farm located in Franklin, TN. Going into its third year, the festival has been hailed by Rolling Stone as having "established itself as a festival to watch." The previous lineups have included heavy hitters Willie Nelson, Steven Tyler, Beck, Daryl Hall and John Oates, Jason Isbell, and Kacey Musgraves and up and coming indie favorites such as Blind Pilot, The Strumbellas, Kaleo, Shakey Graves and more.

Not only does the festival drive tourism dollars to Williamson County but a portion of each ticket sale benefits the City of Franklin, Franklin Parks and MusiCares®, a nonprofit organization that was established by The Recording Academy®.
