"Beginning with a creaky, fuzzed out sample of vocals and piano, 'April Moon' quickly moves from quiet to absolutely cinematic," Impose Magazine wrote of Senator's new single. Senator explained that, "This song's about peeling away all the layers, stripping away all your defenses and facades and leaving yourself totally vulnerable for someone to see and experience the real you." Delving deeper into the song's true inspiration he says, "In other words, it's about raw, unabashed, kinky sex." Impose Magazine praised the track overall as a "passionate ride" featuring "big electric guitar buildups and isolated moments of piano and drums."

Raised in Austin, Texas Howard Baker has been performing from a young age. Baker, dubbed Senator in high school, was raised in a highly musical family - attributing his musical talent to his mother and his musical taste to his father. Senator combines his wide range of influences (from Kurt Cobain to Beck), his longtime love for classical music and his childhood obsession with musicals to create a seamless, cinematic blend of sound unlike any other.

"Each song on the album has a story and represents a different topic," Senator remarked about his forthcoming project. "I tried to take the darkest aspects of life and turn them into something beautiful on this album." The 6-track debut EP features credits from Eric Broyhill (Senses Fail, Tycho, Crosses) and production credits from Baker himself. Of the forthcoming Tiny Monsters EP, idobi Radio remarked, "The project of Howard Baker will be tugging at your heart strings, and your stereo's replay button." Rock Cellar Magazine praised the EP saying, "The music on Tiny Monsters is so engaging, so engrossing that it doesn't seem far-fetched to imagine his profile growing exponentially as the year moves along."

"April Moon" is the 4th single released from Senator's forthcoming debut EP Tiny Monsters, slated for release next Friday, March 10th. He has previously released featured singles "Breathless," "Lost Again" and "One Night Stand."
