On April 30th, pop legend ALISON MOYET released "Reassuring Pinches", the first single to be taken from her stunning forthcoming album Other, set for release on June 16th via Cooking Vinyl. Pre-order the album here to receive instant downloads of "Reassuring Pinches" and "Other".

The icy Germanic arpeggios on "Reassuring Pinches" nod to synth pop, but also expand, elaborate and update that sound into something resolutely modern, unique and powerful, with Moyet’s majestic voice soaring atop.

The new album bursts with clarity, vitality and freshness, finding Alison at the top of her game - making exactly the adventurous music she wants to at this moment in time, with her voice and songwriting both intense, poetic and thought provoking.

Other was again catalyzed by Alison’s fruitful partnership with producer and song writing collaborator Guy Sigsworth, who (as well as having worked with Björk, Goldie and Madonna) also co-created her last album the minutes, which debuted at # 5 in UK national charts and won critical acclaim.

Following the release of Other, Alison will embark on a worldwide headline tour, including U.S.dates from September 11 until September 27. All tickets are on sale now and info is available on Alison's website.
