"”Suppertime Rules” is one of the heavier songs on our album, but also has some spooky stuff in it," says Memo Ibarra (bass/synth). "We were able to make good use of some of Steve Albini's vintage organs in this song like a Hammond with an original Leslie Speaker. Lyrically, It talks about the pre-established rules of life, how they are imposed to you and how they affect you long term. Lyric wise is the most subjective and also the one that goes more far from the love/relationship subject."

Hailing from Guadalajara, MX, Descartes a Kant is one of Latin America’s most imaginative acts. Since their inception in 2001, the band has garnered attention throughout the underground scene with enthralling live shows and eccentric and frantic blend of punk-metal-shoegaze-noise music. Now poised for a major breakthrough in the U.S., the band readies the release of their third studio album, Victims of Love Propaganda.
