Los Angeles – Georgian artist BERA delivers a stunning six track “Untouchable” remix package out on Dim Mak. Filatov & Karas and Sak Noel & Salvi highlight the package with two contrasting reworks. Filatov & Karas go the house route with a remix that is equally at home on radio airwaves as it is on a festival main stage. The Russian duo previously transformed Imany’s “Don’t Be So Shy” into a global smash, with their version crossing 135 Million Spotify streams and becoming one of the Top 10 Most Shazamed Tracks of 2016. Now they look to do the same with their rework of “Untouchable,” with the duo delivering a stunning crossover version. Spain’s Sak Noel & Salvi go the club-friendly route with their clean yet hard-hitting moombahton remix. The pair were instrumental in Sean Paul’s 2016 return to form, as their collaboration “Trumpets” became a cultural phenomenon. The single topped European charts, racked up nearly 50 Million Spotify streams, was hammered by Diplo in his DJ sets, and went viral after as fans partook in competitive #trumpetschallenge dance videos. Additional remixes from Oliver Twizt, Crazibiza, DAMSTERDAM & JRND and Jyye round out the package. From start to finish, BERA’s remix package is emotional, uplifting, and bold.

BERA’s rise is a result from his impassioned focus on creating music, as the classically trained musician and vocalist has been playing instruments since he was four years old. Born in Paris, France and raised in the Republic of Georgia, BERA stems from unique beginnings as the son of successful businessman and former Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili. Although raised into a life of privilege, BERA was forced to overcome challenges, including the social stigma surrounding being born with albinism. Music quickly became his sanctuary, and by grade school the Georgian artist was fluent in classical violin, piano, drums, and guitar. His first work in the music industry was ghostwriting for some of today’s biggest artists. Soon after, BERA went to work writing his own material, pulling elements from R&B, hip hop, pop, and dance music. Through working with famed producers Rodney Jenkins and Rob Fusari, BERA was able to find his own unique voice.

BERA has also taken his unique looks to the modeling sector, where he has graced some of the biggest magazine covers in Georgia in addition to Eastern Europe. He has partaken in both Paris and New York Fashion Weeks and is currently signed to Marilyn Agency in Paris, home to Bar Refaeli, Claudia Schiffer, and many of the world’s top models.
