"I loved working with WAVO for this contest remix," JoLivi told Impose Magazine, "Being able to work with artists all over the world that I would not otherwise have the opportunity to is amazing." Lux Holm was one of hundreds of producers to offer their take on JoLivi's hit single. He remarked, "When I first heard the track, I immediately knew that I had to remix it." Giving the pop track a future bass spin, Lux Holm brought a dynamic energy to "Love Who You Wanna Love." JoLivi praised the remix saying, "I fell in love with what Lux Holm added to my song; I hope to work with him again!"

"Love Who You Wanna Love," released last year alongside an in-depth interview with Bust Magazine, began a new conversation for JoLivi: openly discussing her own sexuality. Following the release of the powerful accompanying visuals JoLivi told ARTISTdirect, "I am so unbelievably proud of the message this song and video express." She continued saying, "I truly believe that LOVE is so important to spread. Especially with what we are going through right now with a divide in our societies." While JoLivi has always been comfortable in her own skin and a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community, this song marked her first public dialogue about her sexuality, offering an invitation for listeners to embrace their own truths. JoLivi shared an acoustic, intimate take on the powerful song in an exclusive session with Perez Hilton here: goo.gl/SqoViv

Since her musical start, JoLivi has garnered attention from Baeble, CelebMix, Fanlalaand Myspacewho remarked that, "JoLivi's songs are laced with the girl-power messages that make pop so delicious." Drawing on personal ups and downs, the singer-songwriter offers an intimate take on pop. Self-described as "curious, loving, confident and definitely resilient" JoLivi pens tracks about bouncing back after hardships in life and love. Perez Hilton recently praised the songstress saying JoLivi, "Sounds like mid aughts Mariah Carey meets JoJo and some Jordin Sparks!" idobi Radio lauded her honest lyrics adding that "Los Angeles' JoLivi has found herself, her voice, and everything she wants to say."

"Love Who You Wanna Love" is JoLivi's latest single, following her 2016 EP, Just For You.
