Los Angeles, CA  – Fresh off the release of “Caan Dun,” Noise Cans blesses us with an incredible five-track remix package of the single. While Anevo and Velvo both throw down trap reworkings of the tune, Boehm delivers his signature breezy sound, layering cheerful horns on top of a danceable beat. To round out the package, Vasta goes the deep house route while Yung Felix reworks the song with an inspirited Afro-beat rhythm.

The moment “Caan Dun” dropped in February 2017 as the first single of Noise Cans forthcoming Masquerave EP, it became a refreshing favorite, and only continues to grow as the weather heats up. Aside from amassing over a million online streams to date, the single was recently added to Spotify’s 3rd largest dance playlist, dancePOP. “Caan Dun” is accompanied by a vibrant music video, which FADER premiered and described as “The best of reggae and electronic music.”

Like many Noise Cans singles, “Caan Dun” embraces the rich cultural history of his home country Bermuda. Drawing inspiration from the Gombey, an iconic symbol of Bermuda born of resistance to authority, Noise Cans expresses a contemporary embodiment of this rich folkloric tradition rooted in African, indigenous, Caribbean, and British cultures. In the video, Noise Cans dawns an intricate Gombey masquerade costume and creates a mesmerizing visual and audio atmosphere. He pays homage to the spirit of the historical Gombey while also celebrating cutting edge art, music, and unequivocal rebellion. His attire is a colorful microcosm of that rich heritage, which he told mic.com is sorely lacking in the electronic dance music community: "So many people have never seen what a Gombey is. I want to incorporate that into what the EDM movement is becoming, and shine more on my up bringing and the things that meant something to me culturally for the rest of the world."

Also bringing a strong sense of identity to “Caan Dun” is 21-year-old songstress Louise Chantál. The forward-thinking singer represents the cultures of London, England, Georgetown, Guyana, and Montclair, New Jersey and fuses them to promote originality and feminism through her music. She released her album Welcome to Aranbi last year exclusively through her own entertainment company, Aranbi LLC. In addition to her success in music, Louise Chantál has modeled for ELLE and Joyrich and directed fashion editorials for Saint Heron, Galore, and Ladygunn Magazine.
