(Long Island, NY) Table Talk has teamed up with Paste Magazine to premiere their new single "The Water Table" today. The track is the last one to be revealed off the band's forthcoming EP Where I Am Without You, which drops tomorrow April 28th. Earlier this month, Table Talk launched pre-orders for both physical and digital copies of the album after unveiling "Driver's Side," on New Noise Magazine. Fans can check out "The Water Table" now, HERE.

When asked about "The Water Table," guitarist/vocalist Sal Salamone said: "The writing process for 'The Water Table' was a new venture for me creatively because it felt like I wasn't writing one of my 'typical' songs. The way I approached songwriting in the past was generally: write a riff, create a basic structure, and then add some lackluster lyrics about something that was bothering me. I think the topic of the song was something I really tried to push myself to write and dig into with unbridled creativity. The lyrics are a blend of my own self criticism and anxiety coupled with the overwhelming feeling of bliss and release that comes from being in a committed relationship. It's really about finding the one person in your life that loves you for all of your faults, especially when you can't love yourself." Drummer Jon Argondizza added: 'The Water Table' is one of my favorite songs we've written and definitely my favorite to play live. Being able to pull and release the feeling and energy behind this song like a pendulum swinging makes this easily the most fun to play live. It was refreshing getting to work on this with Matt Lagatutta of Magic Carpet Studios. He's helped us shape our sound as musicians since Sal, Rob and I started recording with him in old bands. Being able to record with him for the first time as Table Talk and being in the new studio was such a fulfilling sensation.. being able to work with someone you've worked with for such a long time in a brand new environment only opened up the possibilities for both of the songs."

Not only has the band dominated their home turf, they have embarked on multiple weekend runs and short tours across the east coast with New Bedford, Massachusetts’ Northernmost and Southern New Jersey’s Rich People. Table Talk has shared the stage with a number of other emerging bands including A Will Away, Light Years, Head North, Born Without Bones, Nominee, and Sundressed. After supporting Acceptance on their Long Island date, they garnered positive attention from bassist Ryan Zwiefelhofer who tweeted that he was "blown away" and "so happy [they] got to play with them." They were also featured in the Top 30 Submissions for So What Fest.

Table Talk is a four-piece rock band from Long Island, New York that formed in April 2015. The band was a regeneration of a group that included current members: Sal Salamone (guitar/vocals), Ryan O’Rourke (guitar/vocals), Rob Rizzacasa (bass/vocals), and Jonathan Argondizza (drums). Each member has been performing in the Long Island music scene for several years. A distillation of twangy indie-pop and intoxicating rock riffs; Table Talk creates material that not only resonates with their influences, but serves as a platform for connecting with the ever expanding diversity of their listeners' musical taste.
