Today preeminent American rock band Gov't Mule have premiered their 10th studio album Revolution Come... Revolution Go out June 9th on Fantasy Records - PRESS HERE to listen via Huffington Post. Spanning rock, blues, soul, jazz and country, this is Gov't Mule's most diverse album to date and shines a spotlight on the band's evocative songwriting, incendiary playing, cleverly-crafted songs and timely lyrical commentary.

The record is available for pre-order now ahead of its Friday release via iTunesAmazonGoogle PlaySpotifyPledgeMusic and With each order, fans will receive instant downloads of the two lead singles - the hard-charging rocker "Stone Cold Rage" and the simmering "Sarah, Surrender," as well as the gorgeous "Dreams & Songs" and the thought-provoking "Pressure Under Fire," which recently premiered via

Hot on the heels of an electrifying headline set at Central Park SummerStage in New York City celebrating their 2000th show, Gov't Mule, who are currently gracing the cover of Guitar World, will now embark on the 'Revolution Come... Revolution Go' Tour first starting overseas then heading back to the States to close out the summer.Full routing below for all upcoming dates. For ticket info, please visit

The band began recording the album in Austin, TX, on Election Day in November 2016, with half the country poised for upset no matter the outcome. While Gov't Mule's storytelling has always been inspired in part by American struggles and experiences, Revolution Come... Revolution Go finds the band's finger on the pulse of the tension and emotions felt all across the country regardless of political affiliation on songs like "Stone Cold Rage," "Pressure Under Fire," and the title track. These lyrical observations are threaded together with a message of unity and a reminder that we are all in this together. There is also a more personal and introspective side to the album, exploring themes of love and life like on the countrified road song "Traveling Tune," the soaring "The Man I Want To Be" and the slow-burning, reflective "Easy Times." Jimmie Vaughan makes a sizzling cameo on the super-charged "Burning Point." "Dark Was The Night, Cold Was The Ground" is the reworking of the traditional blues instrumental originally recorded by Blind Willie Johnson to which Haynes added lyrics and the band turned into an epic gospel rock closer. Throughout the record, Haynes' dynamic vocals sound as strong and rich as ever, swinging effortlessly between rock 'n' roll grit and soulful crooning. Longtime collaborator Gordie Johnson joined Haynes as co-producer for six tunes, while the legendary Don Was co-produced two tracks with Haynes.

"Like most people, we really had no idea that the election was going to turn out the way it did. That changed everything - from a lyrical perspective. It's not a political record, per se, but there are political connotations. There are also love songs, relationship songs, and songs about working together to make this a better planet. It covers a lot of ground, but it definitely starts and ends as a rock 'n' roll record. It's all within the realm of what we do, but it explores a lot of territory and, in some cases, territory we've never explored before," explains Haynes.

Gov't Mule - GRAMMY® Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, guitar legend WarrenHaynes [vocals, guitar], Matt Abts [drums], Danny Louis [keyboards, guitar, and backing vocals], and Jorgen Carlsson [bass] - has galvanized a global fan base with their music and improvisational virtuosity, leading them to be recognized as one of the most timeless, revered and active bands in the world whose spot amongst rock titans remains unshakable.
