2. What got you into music, and can you tell us about the moment you realized you wanted to be a musician?
When I was small, like 1.5 years of age, my father would try to torture me with his classical music, sit me in front of the speakers, rather than engaging with me, it was there i realize i wanted to torture him later in life, so i learnt the dark arts of modern classical music, a type of music that sends him crazy, i then found rock music too blissful to ignore, when i got bored of the pomp of that, i found electronic music just as devious in it psycho active heart.
3. Who would be your main five musical influences?
Benny Hill’s Theme tune as a piece of music that cant be any more stupid, Mozart for pretty much everything that is wrong with the middle class and there ability to miss use classical music, Penderecki for the glamour of landscape and paranoid dreaming, David Bowie for giving me music to live my life as a teenager (First Gig), and lastly Katie Perry for being so brilliantly crap.
4. If you could call in any one collaborator to do a song with, who would it be?
Katie Perry as i would like to see her skip down my road the way she does on stage like an over sexed budgie.
5. How would you describe your music to someone who’d never listened to you before?
A 4-vehicle car crash with all radio’s on different channels, add a really loud bass drum, few synths and you have it, plus the moaning of the occupants inside the cars…
6. What’s the best thing about being a musician?
Airports - I love them, the over priced food and the wonder of landing without a new disease.
7. When the band are all hanging out together, who cooks; who gets the drinks in; and who is first to crack out the acoustic guitars for a singalong?
Actually no one cooks - no one drinks - and if we see a acoustic guitar we copy Tarentino and smash it over who ever is singing, like in the Hateful 8.
8. If you weren’t a musician, what would be your dream job?
The queen or King i don't mind. Looks pretty cushy to me, few hundred million from the cretins who want to keep her in castes and corgi’s…
9. Looking back over your career, is there a single moment or situation you feel was a misstep or you would like to have a “do over”?
Errrrr, I think i have way to many to say here.
10. If you could magically go back in time and be a part of the recording sessions for any one record in history, which would you choose – and what does that record mean to you?
Benny Hill Theme tune so i could erase it when all had left the room
