Los Angeles, CA - Using impeccable sound design and forbidding distorted vocals, Croatia’s Matroda takes bass house on a dark ride with his Dim Mak debut EP BO$$, premiered by Run The Trap. Incorporating retro rave stabs on the title track and percussive shuffles on “Back To The Basics,” Matroda distinctly warps the genre into one of his own making.

Mixing up a storm this year, Matroda is sending hit after hit into the soundsphere. His VIP edit of Migos’ “Bad and Boujee” continues to dominate the festival circuit, with support by Afrojack at Miami Music Week, Marshmelloat EDC Vegas, NGHTMRE at Bonnaroo, and many more. Billboard praised the reworking as one of the “5 Best ‘Bad and Boujee’ Remixes” and it’s been streamed nearly 1.5M times on Soundcloud. Additionally, he’s released back-to-back singles on Dim Mak: “Get Down” and “Ghetto Funk,” the latter receiving A-list support from the likes of Martin Garrix, Tiësto and Snails.

Matroda’s inventiveness and non-stop work ethic stems from years of classical training in violin, drums, and keyboard. Channeling his extensive background into new territory, Matroda burst into the spotlight via his official remix of SNBRN’s “California” in collaboration with Chris Lake. Since then, the Croatian prodigy has toured the globe, showcasing his unparalleled take on bass infused dance music. This summer, fans can catch him alongside Steve Aoki, on the Dim Mak Stage at Budapest’s Sziget Festival, as well as other festivals around the world.
