One of the hardest-working young bands in metal today, California shredders EXMORTUShave announced yet another round of tour dates! The group, which has spent most of 2014 (and a decent chunk of 2013 as well) touring non-stop with acts including Destruction, Krisiun, Dark Tranquillity, Hatchet, Omnium Gatherum and Lich King, will head out this June with esteemed classic thrashers Flotsam and Jetsam on their Western U.S. run.

The band commented, "We're very excited to be hitting the West Coast this July alongside the mighty Flotsam and Jetsam as well as our metal brothers in Hatchet. Also looking forward to touring in warm weather considering we spent much of 2014 touring in the snow! If you're planning on attending any of the upcoming dates, prepare your ears for some major shred!"

EXMORTUS were formed nearly a decade ago by cousins Conan (vocals & guitar) and Mario Moreno (drums), with the later addition of high school friends David Rivera (guitar) and Jovanni Perez (bass). Having previously released two albums on Heavy Artillery Records, the group signed to Prosthetic to release their finest offering yet -- "Slave To The Sword," which quickly became a favorite among critics and fans alike. Garnering a perfect 10/10 score from Outburn Magazine (which described it as "a song-centric demonstration of thrash/death intensity and memorable trad-metal songwriting"), the album was recorded last year with Zack Ohren (Suffocation, Immolation) and features epic artwork by Philip Lawvere (Celtic Frost, Kreator). The group's music video for "Foe Hammer" (which has remained on SIRIUS XM Liquid Metal "Devil's Dozen" since February) can be seen below:
