"Typical of Monolord," says Consequence of Sound, "the vocals are dreamy and ethereal, only here they’re placed up front, with the chorus even touting a catchy melodic hook. It’s a truly modern sound: recognizably doom, but with the glistening production values of Sigur Ros and adventurous songcraft of Rush."

The band, who released their highly-regarded debut album, Empress Rising, last Spring, also via RidingEasy Records, have streamed two additional song from the forthcoming album, “Cursing The One” (https://soundcloud.com/easyriderrecords/monolord-cursing-the-one) and "We Will Burn" (https://soundcloud.com/easyriderrecords/sets/monolord-vaenir).

Pre-orders are available now with several limited edition vinyl versions available as well as a variety of colored vinyl and CD packages: http://ridingeasyrecords.com/. Digital pre-orders via iTunes are available now (http://geni.us/Monolord).
