Swedish pop duo The Radio Dept. share the brand new remix "We Got Game (Henning Fürst Remix)" today and speak with Noisey about the political message behind their fourth and latest LP, the politically charged Running Out Of Love (out now on Labrador Records).

Via Noisey: In the six years since the Radio Dept.'s last album, times have changed in Sweden—and across the world—as ultra right wing ideology, xenophobia, and outright racism has become increasingly accepted in the political mainstream. Their new album tackles these discomfiting developments headon… It is no coincidence that the album arrived worldwide just three weeks before the United States' own elections—"one of the scariest I can remember" says Larsson, thanks to the candidacy of Donald Trump, who ineloquently espouses the same divisive and repugnant rhetoric that the Radio Dept. have come to fear in their home country. And now, as Trump prepares to be the next President, Larsson's comments strike a wider chord—one that is difficult to even really fathom.

Henning Fürst, formerly of Sweden’s The Tough Alliance,  has remixed Yeasayer, Cut Copy and Sally Shapiro, produced Taken by Trees and Jens Lekman and written/arranged for Lindstrom and CEO. He brings his deft production skills to The Radio Dept’s “We Got Game” with this brand new remix.

“We Got Game” is the second single off Running Out Of Love, which also features #1 HypeM and Spotify Viral charting lead single “Swedish Guns”. The album addresses life in Sweden in 2016 moving in the wrong direction:  politically, intellectually, morally.

In addition, the Swedish duo have announced that Brooklyn-based moody disco artist GERMANS will join them on their upcoming 2017 international tour.  Listen to GERMANS’ breakout single “Wonderhow” here and see the full list of international tour dates below.
