May 19, 2016 - Lukas Graham will perform their double-platinum single "7 Years" on the "2016 Billboard Music Awards" live this Sunday, May 22. The Danish foursome, led by vocalist and songwriter Lukas Graham Forchhammer, has solidified their status as the breakout act of 2016 as "7 Years" earns the #1 spot at both Top 40 and Hot AC radio, reaches #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, and tops the U.S. radio audience chart for four weeks and counting with 170M weekly listeners and 1.5 billion in total audience to date.

Lukas Graham joins a star-studded lineup at the "2016 Billboard Music Awards," with confirmed performances including Justin Bieber, Celine Dion, Demi Lovato, P!nk, Rihanna, Britney Spears, and Madonna to honor Prince. The award show will broadcast LIVE from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas this Sunday, May 22 at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT on ABC.

Lukas Graham's self-titled debut album has received overwhelming critical acclaim since its April 1 release, debuting at #3 on the Billboard 200 and propelling the band further into the global spotlight with what the New York Times describes as "neatly turned songs that merge the lilt of pop-soul with the quick cadences of hip-hop." Hailing from Christiania, an autonomous, artistic community in the center of Copenhagen, Lukas developed his natural talent for honest and gritty songwriting. Classically trained with the Copenhagen Boys' Choir, with a musical scope widened by his Irish folk roots and passion for hip-hop, Lukas possesses a distinct, poetic ability to capture the full range of emotions in his music. Known for a phenomenal live show, Lukas Graham sold out his first ever U.S. headline tour and will continue to play festivals and sold out shows around the world in 2016 alongside bandmates Mark Falgren (drums), Magnús Larsson (bass), and Kasper Daugaard (keyboard).
