Los Angeles, CA – New Zealand-based QUIX has a knack for unique sound design, which shines through on "Riot Call (feat. Nevve)." The track is the first single off his forthcoming Dim Mak EP. Ebullient vocals juxtaposed with low-end hypnotic drops push the boundaries of pop on yet another creative single from the rising young producer. Working alongside Nevve, who has previously added vocals to hits by Jerry Folk, Elephante and Illenium, proved to be the X-Factor on “Riot Call.” In QUIX’s own words,  “Working with a good vocalist made the track come alive… this is a banger.”

Since being named a 2016 “Artist To Watch” by both YourEDM and Run The Trap, QUIX has shown the world why he deserves a spot in the conversation. In the last year alone, he has released tracks on Buygore, Fool’s Gold, NEST, Mad Decent and made his Dim Mak debut via his New Noise single “Pokies.” Nest HQ premiered the tracking, calling it, “Yet another quality record in a string of huge productions from QUIX.”

Pushing full speed into 2017, QUIX’s heavy-hitting beats were felt all across Miami Music Week. Not only was his remix of Bok Nero and Jahlil Beats’ “No Problems” included in MORTEN’s Dim Mak Miami 2017: Nighttime Mix, the track was also dropped by Major Lazer on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival. Additionally, Getter, Slushii, and Adventure Club played his Boombox Cartel collaboration “Supernatural” at Ultra. QUIX himself lit up Dim Mak’s Miami showcase at RC Cola Plant, alongside Steve Aoki, Borgore, Deorro, and Keys N Krates.

Currently, QUIX is on his first North American tour. For the most up-to-date information, please check http://www.facebook.com/OfficialQUIX.
