Combining the theatrical flair of Britney Spears, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, with the world-class pop diva appeal of ArianaGrande, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and delivering the vocal chops of a young Mariah Carey or Whitney Houston, Colorado-born Sonny Mackenzi has dreamed of singing, writing and performing from the age of three. She has already put in her requisite 10,000 hours, putting aside her successful career as a fashion model, while still a teenager, to head to Los Angeles, where she was discovered by veteran Warner Bros. Records A&R executive, Nick Haussling, who took her under his wing with plans to eventually sign her.

Over the past year, Mackenzi has generated quite a buzz in the pop music world, with continuous spins on NBC's The Today Show, and praise from TheTopTens.com, who placed her at #3 for Best New Female Pop Artist. On top of this, her debut single/video, "New Crush", currently has nearly 35k views on YouTube and was picked up by notable pop publications including TWIST Magazine, Celeb Mix, Fangirlish, POParazzi and more. Mackenzi's latest video, for her single, "Rewind", premiered on Popstar!, who wrote, "The Colorado-born singer is sure to become your new fave and after watching our exclusive premiere of her 'Rewind' music video, we have no doubt that you'll be adding Sonny to the top of all your playlists!"
