Sacramento, CA - May 4, 2017 - Sacramento rock band A Lot Like Birds has premiered their brand new album DIVISI today via CLRVYNT. Fans can check it out now, here: https://goo.gl/jMstb5. DIVISI will be released this Friday, May 5th, 2017 via Equal Vision Records. Pre-orders for the album are available now and can be purchased, here: alotlikebirds.merchnow.com.

"Everything about DIVISI has been a step into new territory, but one the universe assured us was in the right direction," the band shares."We are in a better place than we have ever been: Cory blew us all away when he stepped up to the plate as our front man, and we gained a new bassist/best friend in Matt Coate. We evolved our style into something we feel represents where we are in our lives, we upped our production, and we have a whole new team working with us."

In support of the new album, A Lot Like Birds are currently headlining a full US tour featuring support from Household, Hearts Like Lions, and OWEL. The tour kicked off last week and continues through June 2nd. VIP ticket packages, including an exclusive acoustic performance, are available now, here: Alotlikebirds.soundrink.com. After releasing three full-length albums, No Place (2013), Conversation Piece (2011) and Plan B (2009), signing to Equal Vision Records, and touring around the world nearly non-stop for five years straight, A Lot Like Birds began recording their fourth full-length album on April 19, 2016. Armed with a new lineup of Cory Lockwood (vocals), Michael Franzino (guitar), Ben Wiacek (guitar), Joseph Arrington (drums) and newcomer Matt Coate (vocals, bass), and working with Sacramento-based producer Dryw Owens (From Indian Lakes, Sianvar), the band entered the studio - unaware of just how much time, energy and passion would go into the process of creating this new album, that will mark a new era for the band upon its release.

An all-encompassing, all-consuming emotional experience, DIVISI is an album about life and death, and about love and heartbreak. It is about acknowledging your past and facing your future. It's about starting over, without forgetting where you've been. And about remembering those who inspired you to be the person you are and the person you still strive to be. DIVISI is about the change and growth that A Lot Like Birds not only wanted, but needed.

DIVISI will be released on May 5th, 2017 via Equal Vision Records.
