May 4, 2017 – Los Angeles, CA - As the release date for their debut record draws closer, cult metal collective, JOHN FRUM, has shared an epic live video for brand new song today, “Pining Light,” that was filmed at one of the band’s first shows at Saint Vitus Bar in Brooklyn, NY on April 15th. The studio version of the song can be found on the band’s forthcoming album, A Stirring In The Noos, which will be released via Relapse Records on May 12th.

The mysterious JOHN FRUM is the manifestation of four musical minds coalescing in a collective consciousness developed from time spent playing with The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Faceless, John Zorn, Cleric and many more elite projects. JOHN FRUM’s unorthodox debut maneuvers through 40 minutes of darkly psychedelic and meticulously crafted death metal, the backdrop of a bad trip. A Stirring in the Noos is a dismal distillation of oneiric transmissions, an aural reliquary of mis-shapen manifestations, and a totem to modern primitivism in heavy music. A Stirring in the Noos will see its release this May via Relapse Records.
